In 2016, McCarthy Architecture was selected to assist in the interior finish-out of a historic space in Downtown Wylie for a TCBY/Mrs. Fields combination restaurant.  This project involved extensive coordination to work within a space broken up by both an interior stair and an existing restroom, while also accomodating both City of Wylie Historic Downtown requirements along with TCBY prototype design standards.  The public-facing space was designed to maximize the available seating area and product display space within the constraints of the existing building, while kitchen equipment was carefully placed to optimize back of house movement and food preperation operations.  TCBY is excited to be a part of the dynamic and growing Downtown Wylie business community.
