McCarthy Architecture has completed the first phase of construction for a two phase renovation/expansion project at Advantage Academy’s North Duncanville campus.  A master plan was developed which will bridge two existing 9,000 square foot 1980’s era office buildings with 15,000 square feet of new construction.   Included in this project are classrooms, administration offices, a learning hub, a science lab and a cafeteria.  A tight construction timeline necessitated extensive sequencing and coordination to allow the school to continue operations in one of the existing buildings during the school year.  Planning for a future phase will include a gymnasium and additional classrooms as part of an overall master plan.
