Over the past two weeks, the construction team has made great progress, transforming blueprints into reality. This update will showcase the achievements such as, crane installation, exterior metal finishes, and ongoing interior work.
Crane Installation
One of the most pivotal milestones from the last two weeks has been the successful installation of a large crane. This piece of machinery is essential for lifting heavy materials and components, which speeds up various construction activities.
Majority of Exterior Metal Finish Installed
In addition to the crane setup, the majority of the building’s exterior metal finish has been completed. This metal finish not only boosts the building's aesthetic appeal but also provides critical protection against the Texas climate.
The materials chosen for this project are known for their long-lasting durability; for instance, the metal panels have a lifespan of over 40 years with minimal maintenance.
Applying Exterior Metal Trim
With the exterior metal finish in place, the construction team has now turned their attention to installing the exterior metal trim. This step is crucial for both aesthetics and functionality, as the trim not only beautifies the building but also seals seams to ensure weather resistance.
Continuation of Interior Wall Framing
While exterior work is thriving, the interior wall framing is also making significant headway. This phase is essential for defining the building’s internal layout and determining how spaces will be utilized.
Moving Forward
As the project continues, we look forward to sharing more updates on this exciting journey toward completion. Stay tuned for the next steps as we witness the vision of the NTMWD facility coming to life.
